Final Fantasy: Dissidia: Part Two

August 16, 2009 Leave a comment

So you may remember my old article on Final Fantasy: Dissidia, if not you can check it out here. Anyway, while my parents were watching a movie on the laptop I got bored and decided to see what was new on PSN (with my PSP). Low and behold I find that a Dissidia Demo has been released, my reaction? YASHA!!!

I immediately downloaded it and began to play and I have to say, the fight controls aren’t anywhere near as difficult as they were hyped up to be but the fights themselves are quite difficult. As it was stated in the previous article, it is like Street Fighter one-on-one battle system. There is a full 3D world including interactive maps full of things waiting for you to crush.

Personally, from the Demo alone I believe this is going to be an amazing game and I cannot WAIT to get it for my PSP. So for all you PSP folks, what are you waiting for?! Stop reading this and go download the demo! image

Pieces Soon To Be Art-ified

I like to do artwork on objects as soem people may know. I didn’t do so hot during art in school because it was on paper and wasn’t very fun. That’s beside the point though.

I picked up a new ‘canvas’ to do some artwork on: a Carbon Fiber Dodge Neon STR4 Hood. Should be fun. The hood itself is pretty messed up, its cracked all over the place but it still holds together well. The cracks shouldn’t show through a couple layers of paint so that should be alright. I’ve also got an MR2 AW11 Spoiler I’ll be doodlin’ on too. Check em out.

Check It Out VOL I

June 10, 2009 Leave a comment

Ok, so to keep my blog alive I decided that every week I’m going to publish these posts with a few websites that I’ve found that I’ve thought entertaining. I’ll share each with you, the reader and challenge you to send in your favorite websites!

This week on Volume One of Check It Out:

My Life Is Average – MLIA is an awesome site based around people who are completely average. You’ve heard of Fmylife.com right? Where people post ridiculous stories that just make them say FML? Here at MLIA, people post things that just happen, everyday, ordinary posts. Check it out! They tend to be funnier than FMLs!

OMGPOP – OMGPOP is a fun, online game play site where you can play many different games with people around there world. You can level up, earn experience and chat with anybody during game play. Best of all, its absolutely free! Check it out!

Hood Elements – Hood Elements was a huge CWalk and Urban Elements site back in the day. After some technical difficulty the site went down for over six months, however the site is back! Its a huge community with everything from CWalk, to Music, to just straight chattin’. Register today and become a part of this growing community!

Is Twitter Worth It?

So I’ve been seeing a lot of debate about whether or not Twitter is worth it. The answer is simple DEPENDING on why you’re getting it. If you’re getting it just to match the trend and be like everyone else that is getting one, then no, it isn’t worth it.

But if you’re looking at it for an actual use then yes it is. Twitter comes in very handy when it comes to getting the most recent updates on anything. I’ll use myself for example.

I’m very into Motorsports. So on Twitter I follow Motorsports people, such as Formula Drift, D1GP, Wrecked Magazine, SpeedHunters and more. What this does is that all the updates these people post are sent to me directly. So when there’s something going on in Formula Drift, I know. When Speed Hunters posts a new Article on a Concept car, I’ll see it. Legendary Drifter dies in an accident, I’ll be one of the first people to see it. Twitter is also good for promoting your own causes and getting views for blogs as well as just staying up to date with anything.

So if you’re using twitter just to use it, that’s stupid. Once you get a real reason to use it, it’s epic.

New Site, Possibly?

So, as I’ve informed everyone, I have a central hub that everything is located off of; all my links with everything I’m involved in is there. I’ve actually been thinking into making that my main site and taking the HTML from this and posting it up on there (if I can remember how).

I’m not sure how it’ll all work out, I won’t be able to work on it till school’s out, so just keep tuned and we’ll see how it goes.
