Ok, so to keep my blog alive I decided that every week I’m going to publish these posts with a few websites that I’ve found that I’ve thought entertaining. I’ll share each with you, the reader and challenge you to send in your favorite websites!
This week on Volume One of Check It Out:
My Life Is Average – MLIA is an awesome site based around people who are completely average. You’ve heard of Fmylife.com right? Where people post ridiculous stories that just make them say FML? Here at MLIA, people post things that just happen, everyday, ordinary posts. Check it out! They tend to be funnier than FMLs!
OMGPOP – OMGPOP is a fun, online game play site where you can play many different games with people around there world. You can level up, earn experience and chat with anybody during game play. Best of all, its absolutely free! Check it out!
Hood Elements – Hood Elements was a huge CWalk and Urban Elements site back in the day. After some technical difficulty the site went down for over six months, however the site is back! Its a huge community with everything from CWalk, to Music, to just straight chattin’. Register today and become a part of this growing community!
So, as I’ve informed everyone, I have a central hub that everything is located off of; all my links with everything I’m involved in is there. I’ve actually been thinking into making that my main site and taking the HTML from this and posting it up on there (if I can remember how).
I’m not sure how it’ll all work out, I won’t be able to work on it till school’s out, so just keep tuned and we’ll see how it goes.
Aiya, it’s been a long time since I’ve posted, perhaps too long. Life was really busy and its about to get busier this month. I graduate next week so I have to go through all the formalities and breakfasts’ and all that jazz followed by a bunch of different Graduation Parties I’ve been invited to. So this entire month is going to be busy…how troublesome.
Recently I’ve finished a couple of different Anime, such as Code Geass and Xam’d: Lost Memories which were both very good. Code Geass is two seasons including Code Geass: Lelouch of the Rebellion and Code Geass: R2. The story line is filled with plot twists and romance and overall has an excellent mixture of action. A quick warning, the ending is a bit of a tearjerker. Xam’d: Lost Memories was also very good. Sadly it’s only 26 Episodes and ends with a very open finish. There aren’t too many action sequences but the story line, plot and characters are very captivating and issue a good amount of comedy throughout the show. Hopefully they decide to continue it sometime soon because the story has some unfinished points that would be awesome to expand on which would make me very happy.
In news other than Anime, I’ve got one of my old sites back up, you can check it out here. This will be my central hub, instead of having a mass of links everywhere you can easily access anything I’m involved in. Chances are the layout and design will change again…and again. So check often to see what’s new!
Keep in touch!
So this was my first drift event or race event of any kind. I was up bright and…well, not bright just early in the morning at 0500AM and Justin and I were at the Train Station by 0630 where the rest of the gang already was, to bring the grand total to….6.
So the six of us took a two hour entertaining train ride up to Anaheim California. We saw the driver’s warming up while we were still in the train and the moment we stepped off….we were in love. The smell of burning rubber filled our noses and the sound of squealing tires caused us to remove our iPods. Yum.
After getting our tickets and FINALLY getting in, we all went off in different directions and checked out the thousands of cars there. I took close to 300 pictures, drooled a couple of pints and blew more money than I should have.
I didn’t quite catch all the names of the drivers, but by the end of the day I knew: Ueno, Yoshioka, Tanaka, Petty, Cox and Kumakubo.
The biggest irritation of the day was the fact that I missed Nomuken’s runs and the fact that he didn’t qualify for the Super 16.
I didn’t stay for the end, the gang and I decided to leave before the masses and get a bite to eat before we took the next train out. The train ride back was fun, lots of jokes going around. Jess’ “I’ve figured it out! *Points at Jacob* Guns with girls turn you on. *Points at me.* Cars with girls turn you on. *Points at Nick* Planes with Girls turn you on. *Points at Mike* And….I….I dunno.” Jacob comes in a few seconds later. “Girls don’t turn him on…” and then Justin’s killer of the night, “I was just thinking about it and this is the last place a blind person would look for an outlet…”
So all in all, it was a good day with lots of new experiences. I can’t wait till Formula D comes down so we can do it all over again…Sorry Mike :P
